Melissa is a multifaceted creative with a desire to find beauty in the everyday.

Originally from Oklahoma, Melissa knew from a young age she wanted to work in the creative field. Her career has included a variety of brands and mediums, from Glamour and ELLE to Urban Outfitters, Topshop and Shinola. Her pivot from fashion to beverage landed her at Health-Ade Kombucha and most recently consulting for brands like BLUwater and Wonderwerk.

In addition to her Marketing expertise, her passion projects include bringing her vision for shared physical space to life. Yuccasita, the Yucca Valley Airbnb, was the first project she brought to life in 2017.

In 2019 she began concepting a ‘coffee shop meets cocktail bar’ in Joshua Tree, CA. Three years later, in December 2022, Más o Menos opened its doors and has been a destination for desert dwellers and visitors alike.
