I'm Melissa, a multi-faceted creative based in Los Angeles. My experience is as broad as my interests, ranging from in-house PR and content creation to building a bar + coffee shop from the ground up.

What began as a pipe dream to create a community watering hole in the hi-desert, has since become a real-life tangible space. Many days and sleepless nights were spent concepting and bringing to life this space in Joshua Tree. Working on this project reaffirmed that my strength and passion lie in the creative development of physical spaces. My “ten-year plan” includes more projects like Más o Menos.

Yuccasita is a 1950’s fixer-upper purchased in 2017. The intention was to rent the space to short and long-term visitors while being an extension of me and my partners’ personalities. After 6 years, many 5-star reviews, and tons of amazing memories later - we sold the property to a local interested in putting down her roots in Yucca Valley. Yuccasita was the first real estate project I worked on and gave me the drive to continue pursuing this passion.
